This is a series of long exposures of the skies above various places in Singapore. Being a highly developed urban environment, city lights explodes the night atmosphere. Light strikes the surface the film at an instantaneous moment, thereby documenting an activity. The continuous exposure of the film records the complex event that is concurrent at the scene. This challenges the photographic medium, which is usually about a moment in time. So what can the continuous exposure tell us about the place and time?
All exposures are done at F/22, in the span of 20 minutes. Shot on medium format Kodak Portra 400VC.
